  16. WHAT'S NEW IN THIS VERSION
  17.  
  18.    It's been a long time since relase 1.0 of Unnkulian Unventure II.
  19. The game and its predecessor, UU1, were so successful that we've
  20. formed a company to distribute our games, and have many new and
  21. upcoming titles set in the Unnkulian and other worlds.  See
  22. README.DOC for more information about ADVENTIONS, your 90's source
  23. for interactive novels.

  25.    I've made many major changes to UU2 since release 2.0, the main
  26. being the switch to TADS 2, which now provides the handy UNDO command
  27. along with some bug fixes.  TADS 2 also runs games in much less
  28. memory by swapping game objects to and from disk as needed.  Perhaps
  29. most important, the PC version of TADS 2 uses the BIOS for its text
  30. output, enabling ADVENTIONS games to be used with text readers for
  31. the visually impaired.

  33.    The text has been entirely reformatted for better readability, and
  34. the new  SPACE and INDENT commands let you customize the output to
  35. your liking.

  37.    Hundreds of bugs have been fixed and inconsistencies made consistent.
  38. It's been a tremendous amount of work, but a labor of love.  Have fun
