WHAT'S NEW IN THIS VERSION
It's been a long time since relase 1.0 of Unnkulian Unventure II.
The game and its predecessor, UU1, were so successful that we've
formed a company to distribute our games, and have many new and
upcoming titles set in the Unnkulian and other worlds. See
README.DOC for more information about ADVENTIONS, your 90's source
for interactive novels.
I've made many major changes to UU2 since release 2.0, the main
being the switch to TADS 2, which now provides the handy UNDO command
along with some bug fixes. TADS 2 also runs games in much less
memory by swapping game objects to and from disk as needed. Perhaps
most important, the PC version of TADS 2 uses the BIOS for its text
output, enabling ADVENTIONS games to be used with text readers for
the visually impaired.
The text has been entirely reformatted for better readability, and
the new SPACE and INDENT commands let you customize the output to
your liking.
Hundreds of bugs have been fixed and inconsistencies made consistent.
It's been a tremendous amount of work, but a labor of love. Have fun
with the game!
